Who tried to stop the Holocaust?

With the release of his book, Hitler was able to seduce the people of Germany and began the Nazi power. He had been working on his concentration camps before the Nazi’s came to power. When Hitler did come to power, Anti Semitism flowed through Germany like wild fire. One of the men who watched this happen was also one of the men who tried to stop it. Jan Karski was a part of the polish underground. This was a group that tried to fight against the Nazi power. Karski tried to spread the word of the Jewish people and the horror that was going on but he failed to do so. Jan Karski went to the camps himself and fell witness to mass murder. He tried to go to London to tell Winston Churchill and the U.S to talk to Franklin D Roosevelt but he could not get through to them. Karski’s work did not go unrecognized and was considered a hero after his death in 2000. He wanted to help his fellow Polish people and the Jews who were the center of hatred in Europe. This was evident even after the Holocaust.
