The Accident

        She ran out the door with everything in her hands and her phone wedged between her shoulder and ear.



Laura jumped in her car and sped off to work, still on the phone with her assistant. Going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone, she had no fear.



CRASH!

The car in front of her made an abrupt halt and Laura didn't have enough  time to stop.




 
"DAMMIT!" She screamed into the phone.

"Laura? Are you okay? Laura? What happened? Laura? Do i need to call 911? Laura?!" Eric was getting nervous.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Some idiot just slammed their brakes in front of me."she was starting to get red in the face. "Dammit! I'm not going to be able to make it to the meeting now."
