As the Hail Mary was being thrown in the air, Matt escaped from the safety and made a incredible catch as he kept running. The 30, 25, 15, 10. As he got to the ten yard line, the safety gave up on him because their was no way he had a chance to tackle him. Once Matt got to the 7 yard line, he started
swaggering to the end zone in getting ready for victory celebration, and a spot in the national title. This was one of the happiest moments of his life but he knew what was going to happen. He scheduled a press conference for all of the teams that were looking at him so he could address what has happened.
It was time. He walked up to the microphone
staggering, as if he was going to fall any second He got up on there and said "Thank you everybody for coming. I think you all know what you all are here for, For the past year I ---- I have been taking Human Growth Hormones to improve by body and play. I know that taking them were wrong as it greatly has hurt my playing ability. Taking them as hurt my chances of playing in all of your great organizations, but I would like to tell all of you that I was stopped taking them for the last two weeks and you could give me a drug test everyday to prove that I am off steroids. Thank you."
He walked off the stage to meet his dad, who is livid at him because he most likely lost all of his chances at getting a full scholarship, at which then a coach came up to him. " I'm the coach for Ohio State University. What you did up their was really brave of you, but what you did is forgotten because of that. I wanted to tell you in person that Ohio State will take away their offer of a half scholarship and we won't even be accepting you to play football now. Sorry son." With that, he walked away, and my dad walked away knowing my career is over.
