FanFic Part 2: Beginning

JULY 17, 1660


   It was very profound of Reverend Johnson to interrogate me like that yesterday. I may be a witch, but I do not perform witchcraft, especially because it is forbidden. I have been waiting for Jaybird, my Indian friend, to come, but he must not have left his cave. Wait, I think i hear the calls of jaybirds. Jaybird is waiting for me in the woods! I must go and catch up with my friend; we haven't seen each other since the fall. I'll just grab my basket to collect plants and be on my way! Martha doesn't like me going in to the woods because my fellow townspeople have suspicions  about me being a witch, but this is an exception. I'll collect some plants to add to our Physick Garden.
