Grapes of Wrath

Grapes_of_wrath

Grapes of Wrath is John Steinbeck's classic portrayal of a family struggling through the hardships of the Dust Bowl in 1930s America. As the Joads travel from Oklahoma to California in search of opportunity after the sequestration of the family farm, they continue to experience loss and despair in many forms. Folk musician Woodie Guthrie's song I Ain't Got No Home reflects the idea of loss that the Joads experience throughout their journey.
