the desire for power has shaped the past to a fair extent because empires have the desire for power but this desire can lead to the rise or fall of an empire. It can reach the fall of an empire because of physical power. which means power of having a great army as in physically stronger then most empires. Causing other empires to have jealousy over the rising empire wich gets empires into war, invation of other empires.
